Another shout out here if anyone out there is reading. April (who I've mentioned before here) FINALLY has a blog. GASP! The world may just spin off its axis.
I read it, left a comment and even became a follower. My, my. I haven't followed a blog in quite some time. In the past, if it didn't make me laugh straight away, I did not follow nor care. Whether it makes me laugh or not doesn't matter. Blood is thicker than blog.
Due to my laziness in writing, here is a conversation of email I sent to April:
when i 1st started blogging i became obsessed with it, trying to advertise it, setting it up over & over (drop down menus, paypal button for "tips", scans of my high school art work, etc), setting up others people's ads, trying to get paid, making sure people were reading so I might make a dime or two. In the end I made $1.83 and the minimum amount for a mailed check is $10 That took a year.
Just not worth the effort and it irks me to no end that some people make 50K per year doing this....Blogging!
I gave up on it for another year, began again to write just for me. I didn't advertise, I didn't tell anyone at all. You now have something to do at work, which is cool. Lately, I've been scrambling out quick posts before I leave for work. There was a neat b&w photo of me int he corner but I removed it. I wanted to remain anonymous.
